A lack of sleep can make anyone cranky and irritable, which puts pressure on the relationship between you and your spouse, or you and your children. On the flip side of that, a full nights sleep can make you happier, improve memory, and leave you feeling 100 percent better than with limited hours of rest

If you've ever tried to fall asleep and couldn't. you know how frustrating that can be. You struggle, toss and turn, and become angry. This only causes you to become more awake, not sleepy. It's counterproductive. It can last for hours, too.

Instead of focusing for hours on the frustration and lack of sleep, the mind can enter a state relaxation that helps induce sleep. The body becomes more comfortable when there's less focus on not being able to sleep. It lowers stress and welcomes sleep with open arms instead of trying to force sleep with anger and resentment.

Induce Hypnosis for Better Sleep

1. While laying in bed, close your eyes and let your mind float free. If your mind starts to drift to your daily problems, or rehashing something that happened that day, don't become angry . It's important to stay relaxed and peaceful. Refocus on the tasks hand.

2. Start at the toes and tighten the muscles then relax while letting the tension leave your body, It helps to visualize the tension draining away from the body. Tighten and relax each body part from the calves to the thighs, buttocks to stomach. Each part of the body must be tightened until you reach the head. Focus only on the sensations.

3. Once the entire body is feeling less tense, repeat a phrase that will help the mind relax "I'm relaxed and ready to sleep. Each breathe brings me closer to sleep". the phrase can be personal. You don't need say it out loud, just mentally repeat the phrase .

The points is to relax your body and quiet the mind.
